My research is focused on the interactions between lipids and their surrounding environment. In previous work I have been investigating the effect of cholesterol on the permeation barriers for a multitude of solutes across different types of lipid bilayers. Currently I’m working on method development for molecular dynamics, with the aim of improving the accuracy of long-range Lennard-Jones interactions in lipid bilayer simulations.
